Who it is for
Care plans are for organizations whose website or application matters to daily business and who want a reliable team on call. They suit clients of ours after launch, and companies whose original developer has moved on. If updates are being postponed, small changes take weeks, or nobody is sure what happens when something breaks, a care plan replaces uncertainty with an agreed service level.
What is covered
- Security and framework updates for Laravel, PHP, packages and, where relevant, WordPress core and plugins
- Monitoring of uptime, errors, queues and scheduled tasks
- Backups checked and restores tested
- Bug fixes for issues in code we maintain
- Small changes and improvements from a monthly allowance of development hours
- Content support for updates your team prefers not to handle
- Monthly report on updates, incidents, hours used and recommendations
How we approach it
Every plan begins with an onboarding review. For a site we built, that is quick. For an inherited site, we audit the code, server, dependencies and backups, then list risks in order of priority. From there, maintenance is routine: updates are applied on a staging copy, tested and released in a planned window. Urgent issues follow the response times in your plan, and our offices in British Columbia and Dubai mean someone is working during most of the day across North America, Europe and the Middle East.
We track every request in a shared ticket system, so you can see what was asked, who handled it and how long it took. Unused hours roll over for one month on Professional and Priority plans. Larger features are quoted separately, so your monthly allowance stays available for day-to-day needs.
Technology
We maintain Laravel applications built on our Genesis, Apex and Atlas engines, as well as standard Laravel and WordPress projects. Updates go through version control, a staging environment and our versioned release system, which keeps a changelog visible in your admin panel. Error tracking, uptime checks and server monitoring alert our team directly. Backups are encrypted and stored off-server.
Why ongoing care matters
Websites do not stay still after launch. Frameworks release security patches, browsers change, integrations update their APIs and your team needs new pages or features. Without regular care, small issues build up until an update becomes a rescue project. A care plan spreads that work into predictable monthly steps, keeps the codebase current and means the people fixing a problem already know how your system works.
What you get
You get a site that stays secure and current, with a team that knows the code and answers within agreed times. You also get predictable monthly costs and a written record of everything done. Three plans are available: Essential for steady corporate sites, Professional for sites with regular changes and integrations, and Priority for business-critical applications that need fast response around the clock.
Compare plans and response times on our pricing page. If you are moving an older site onto a care plan, we may first recommend a migration or security review.
