Who it is for
Migration suits organizations whose current site has become slow, fragile or expensive to maintain, but whose content and search visibility are too valuable to throw away. Common cases include WordPress sites with dozens of plugins, WooCommerce stores struggling with large catalogues, multilingual sites built on translation plugins, and older custom systems no one can update safely. Many of our corporate and industrial projects have started this way.
What we migrate
- WordPress sites to Laravel on our Genesis or Apex engines
- WooCommerce stores to our T-Rex commerce engine, including products, variants, customers and orders
- Multilingual content from translation plugins into a clean, structured multilingual model
- Media libraries, documents and downloads, with file names and paths cleaned up
- Users and accounts, where passwords can be migrated or reset safely
- Redesigns where the content stays but structure and design change
How we approach it
Migration is mostly careful planning. We begin by crawling the existing site to list every URL, template and content type, and we export analytics and Search Console data to see which pages bring traffic. We then map old content to the new structure and write importers that move it automatically, so the process can be repeated and checked rather than copied by hand.
Before launch, every old URL has a destination: either a matching new page or a 301 redirect to the closest equivalent. Titles, descriptions, headings and structured data are preserved or improved. We compare the old and new sites page by page, then launch with monitoring in place and track search performance closely for the following weeks. If an issue appears, it is fixed quickly by the team that did the work.
Technology
Importers are written in Laravel and read from WordPress databases, WooCommerce tables, the WordPress REST API, CSV exports or other sources. New sites run on Laravel 13 and PHP 8.4 with MySQL or MariaDB and Redis. Redirects are managed in the admin panel so your team can add more later. We use crawlers, Google Search Console and analytics to verify coverage before and after launch.
Common migration problems we prevent
Most migration damage comes from small oversights: image paths that break, PDF links shared in old emails, category pages nobody remembered, or tracking codes left behind. Our inventory catches these before launch. We also watch for duplicated content created by translation plugins and old tag archives, and decide with you which pages are worth keeping, merging or retiring.
What you get
You get a faster, more secure site with all of your valuable content intact, a complete redirect map, and a report comparing before and after. You also get repeatable importers, which means a final content sync just before launch captures any changes your team made during the project. There are no missing product images and no forgotten pages that used to bring in enquiries.
